Doyle Moyer

Doyle Moyer is a desert pen and ink artist. For Doyle, it’s all about the details. Only with sharp eyes and a very fine pen can he create the ultimate image of the species with all their fine features. Something we never see in the wild. We're just not close enough. Doyle brings it up close and personal, with personalities in the images suggested in their facial features. Living breathing Ravens, Roadrunners, Quails, and Owls from the distant desert to your home. From the hand of someone who walks Joshua Tree National Park in the summer with twenty pounds of water on his back to see them in habitat, far from human beings.

Doyle started drawing as a child in the Southern California Desert to entertain himself and grew a bond with the open spaces while learning to draw. This led him to develop pen and ink drawing skills for the rest of his life. Now Doyle has mastered desert life in ink and is specializing in drawing and photographing the outdoor life of Joshua Tree National Park.
